Three women were arrested for harboring or aiding a felon in connection with the case involving mom of six Brittany Booker, who was killed on Sunday, April 24, in Racine, Wisconsin. Terry Jackson Jr. remains wanted for her death.
Racine police identified the three women who were arrested as Diamond Hood, Alicia Skyes and Carmelita Walker. Hood was arrested on Tuesday, April 26, in connection with the homicide of Booker, while Skyes and Walker were both arrested on Wednesday, April 27.
The latter two were arrested in connection with an incident involving the assault of Booker and another woman back in February, according to a report by Racine County Eye.
Jackson Jr. remains at large
Police and U.S. Marshals are still searching for Jackson Jr., who they believe is armed and dangerous. Crime Stoppers is also offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to Jackson's whereabouts and arrest.
According to Racine Police, they found Booker's body in her car on Sunday morning near 13th and Villa. Racine Police Chief Maurice Robinson told reporters that police and U.S. Marshals have searched for Jackson Jr. at several locations in the city but he still is nowhere to be found.
Robinson told Fox 6 Now that they were not able to locate him, but they were able to locate a vehicle he had been traveling in. Racine Police also revealed that they were already looking for Jackson prior to the Booker homicide. U.S. Marshals said that Jackson attacked Booker and another person back in February, leading to arrest warrants.
According to the chief of police, they have been searching for Jackson diligently, but somehow, he has managed to elude them. Police remain tight-lipped about how the two incidents are connected, and what happened on the day that Booker was killed.
Robinson did issue a statement, saying "He was able to make his way into her home. We won't discuss subsequent to that. At some point, she left the home, and we were able to locate her in a vehicle."
