An Arizona woman is sharing her unique experience with ectopic pregnancy, or a pregnancy that occurs outside of the uterus when she has two uteruses and two vaginas due to a rare condition called uterus didelphys.
Leanne Bell, 37, said in her TikTok video that she got pregnant four years ago. However, out of her two uteruses, she said that it was ironic for the baby to "choose to grow in my fallopian tube."
Bell said that she had to undergo an emergency surgery because of this dangerous pregnancy. However, she also revealed that she can actually get pregnant with two babies in both her uteruses in the same months and they could be fathered by different men.

Living With Uterus Didelphys
Bell was born with this rare condition but she has been candid about her "extra female body parts." Since she has two vaginas and two uteruses, Bell also has two monthly periods and needs to wear two tampons, if her double periods happen at the same time. Admittedly, it's not a joy to deal with.
In another TikTok video, Bell disclosed that she found out about her double uterus after having bad periods. A consult with a gynecologist confirmed her rare condition.
Her doctor also advised her that she'd be a high-risk pregnancy if she ever wants to go through this again. There are, however, women with uterus didelphys who have had successful and healthy births.
Because of her rare condition, Bell said that a lot of the men she's been in a relationship with have been "scared off" after learning she has two vaginas and two uteruses. She recently started online dating and has decided to tell the men of her condition right away "so nobody's time is wasted," per Daily Mail.
Bell has also educated her TikTok followers by drawing a diagram of what uterus didelphys look like inside her body. She has been very patient in answering the questions on her TikTok and even impressed some doctors who have yet to encounter patients with this rare condition.
Mom With Uterus Didelphys Naturally Birthed Healthy Son
In Alaska, 29-year-old Stephanie Haxton learned that she has a double uterus more than six years ago following a check-up with her gynecologist. Like Bell, she was advised of her pregnancy risks and thought that she will not be able to bear a child after suffering miscarriages.
However, in 2021, Haxton learned that she was pregnant on her left cervix, which she carried with little issues for 41 weeks. Haxton thought that she was going to have an emergency C-section but she was able to have her son naturally.
Fewer than 5,000 women have uterus didelphys in the world and Haxton was the very first case in the hospital in Alaska, per Metro.
