The Cambridge children are all busy in the kitchen. Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William shared photos on Sunday, June 5, of the royal mom baking up a storm with her kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, which was part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
People magazine reported that the video montage of photographs started with a caption, "Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today! We hope you like them!"
In the pictures, taken in a home kitchen decorated with a Union Jack pendant banner, eight-year-old George, seven-year-old Charlotte, and four-year-old Louis, were adorably off-duty in their polo shirts and shorts as they prepped, poured and mixed the ingredients.
Royal kids delighted with their vanilla cupcakes
Charlotte looked cheerful as she dumped flour into a bowl as George looked on, while their youngest brother Louis expertly sifted all on his own. For the best step of all, the three children were intrigued as their mother Kate, also looking relaxed in a pink gingham top and jeans, iced the vanilla cupcakes they were doing with sprinkles.
Charlotte gasped with joy, while George laughed at his sister's reaction in the video clip, which closed with an image of the mother and daughter smiling at one another, according to Harper's Bazaar. The royal family baked the yummy treats ahead of their visit on Saturday to Cardiff, Wales, where Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their proud parents on a royal walkabout and met performers ahead of a special concert.
Prince William, Duchess Kate and the rest of the royal family geared up for a final busy day of celebrating, starting with The Big Jubilee Lunch festivities. Public and private lunches took place across the United Kingdom to encourage communities to come together and break bread in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's record-breaking 70-year reign.
