A 37-year-old woman fell in love and got married to the life-size ragdoll sewn by her mother because she was sad about not having a partner for an important social dance. Named Marcelo, the inanimated doll, is also the "father" of her ragdoll baby.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes, from Brazil, has pictures and videos to prove that she married the ragdoll. According to Pop Crush, the woman wanted to start a family but did not want to have a baby out of wedlock. So, she and Marcelo had an actual wedding witnessed by 250 family members and friends.
Soon after the wedding, Moraes said she got pregnant with her honeymoon baby. She also had an actual doctor and nurse during her "pain-free" birth. She claimed she went into labor for 35 minutes and saw the placenta and blood.

Husband is a "Lazy" Man
Moraes admitted, however, that her husband is "lazy" despite his many good qualities. Thus, she stands as the provider for her family.
The new mom is aware of the negative reactions online and hates it when people say this is fake, according to New York Post. Moraes insisted that she is a "woman of character" who was taught by her parents to be honest and not take advantage of people.
Amid the criticisms, Moraes can only describe her married life as "wonderful" and claimed that she and her ragdoll husband do not fight. She said Marcelo is a very understanding husband who is faithful to her and who will be the envy of many women everywhere.
Falling in Love with Objects
While Moraes's story doesn't mention her mental state, netizens on Reddit said she might be suffering from objectophillia, a strange disorder characterized by a strong romantic or sexual reaction to objects. Some studies link objectophillia to a form of autism.

She claimed she had a deep and intimate relationship with the video game for more than a year and a half before deciding to commit. Her family members said she is on the Autism spectrum, and they indulge her because her objectophillia is not harming anyone.
