A 13-year-old boy confessed that he helped dispose of his aunt's body after his mom allegedly shot her dead in April. The mother, Carmen White, 38, is now charged with capital murder with a $750,000 bond.

According to Houston Police, the investigation started on April 1, when someone reported a burned body near an industrial metal work business. Upon autopsy, authorities learned that the body was Cynthia Cervantes, 37, White's sister. Police noted that the body had been shot multiple times before it was set on fire. They then identified White as a suspect in an initial investigation. She was arrested on June 27 for capital murder charges, The Sun reports.

Gruesome murder confession of a 13-year-old boy

White's 13-year-old son confessed that his mom forced him to move his dead aunt's body. He said he was at the park when his mother showed up and asked him to follow her. He said he followed his mother to the apartment complex dumpster, where she allegedly instructed him to assist her in lifting a bag of unknown items from the dumpster area and placing it in the trunk of her vehicle. The teen told police that when he reached and lifted what felt like human legs, he dropped them back to the ground.

The boy narrated his mom became "very angry" and forced him to pick up the body and take it to the vehicle. When the son resisted again, White became "extremely aggressive." Fearing what she might do to him, he followed her instructions, ABC 13 said. He said he then went to his apartment and slept.

Another witness said that White contacted him on March 31 to help her dispose of a body in exchange for sexual favors. He relayed that White picked him up and took him to a vacant unit below her apartment, where she showed him a body. She said she needed help in moving the body to her vehicle in exchange for sexual favors as payment. He noted that the body was wrapped in a garbage bag, but he could see that the person was deceased.

He declined and asked White to drive him home. Police believe that when the witness declined her request, White asked for the son's help in moving the body.

Police said that video footage showed that White's vehicle, a gray Chevrolet HHR, was at the location where the body was dumped for six to seven minutes before driving off on April 1. They also found traces of Cervantes' blood in her car.

An act of retaliation

According to People, a witness told the police that White was angry with her sister, Cynthia Cervantes, for calling the police on her in February. The deceased sister reported her for "terroristic threats." When she was arrested for the charges, methamphetamine was found in her possession. White was reportedly mad as the complaint caused her to be jailed and her previous car to get towed, which she still has not recovered from the tow lot.
