Singer-actress Mandy Moore announced that she would be canceling the remaining dates of her 2022 Tour as she would focus on her baby's health.
In March, Moore released her seventh studio album, "In Real Life," which arrived on May 13 on Verve Forecast. She launched a 2022 North American Tour to support her new album.
However, the "Candy" singer announced Tuesday via her Instagram account that she was canceling the rest of her tour dates to focus on her baby's health.
"It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that I have to let you all know that I am canceling my remaining show dates in 2022. It has been an honor and an absolute dream to return to the stage again this past month, performing for all of you," Moore wrote.
Long hours and pregnancy taking their toll on Moore
She added, "When we booked these shows, I wasn't pregnant, and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed. I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first, and the best place for me to be right now is at home."
The "A Walk to Remember" star ended her post with, "Thank you for all of your support along the way, and thank you in advance for respecting my decision. I can't wait to get back out there soon to bring this music and show your way!!"
Moore also stated that all tickets would be refunded at the places where they were purchased.
Mandy Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, learned they were expecting their second child a few months after announcing the tour. Shortly after her show, "This Is Us," had its series finale, she posted the news on her Instagram along with a photo of their 16-month-old son Gus wearing a "Big Brother" shirt, per Today.

Prioritizing Baby's Health
Moore promised her fans that she would be back and perform for them again, but she just had to prioritize her baby's health for now.
Moore told Billboard that her inspiration in music came from future-tripping on the next chapter of her life, what parenthood would feel like, how it would surely change everything, and all the excitement and trepidation that comes along with it.
The singer and Goldsmith were married in November 2019. They announced in February 2021 that they had welcomed their first child together, August Harrison Goldsmith.
