Two families supposedly intending to have a fun vacation at Disney World in Florida, dubbed the happiest place on earth, engaged in a massive brawl that ended at the hospital and jail.

Viral videos of the melee, posted on various social media sites, showed the families in physical combat while dozens of onlookers, including the staff and cast members, attempted to stop the fight. Screams and pleas were ignored as the two groups continued to hit each other.

One group had about six members wearing coordinated red and white Disney outfits. The other family was equally large and just as psyched and aggressive.

A witness who took and uploaded the video told Fox News Orlando that it took two minutes for the Disney security personnel to arrive while police officers followed after five minutes and arrested three people for misdemeanor battery. One of the men involved had to be taken to the hospital because he had cuts on his face.

Why did the families fight?

Another witness informed WDWNT that the fight started when one person had to step out o the line at Magic Kingdom to retrieve the phone she left behind. When she returned, the family wearing matching outfits did not let her pass, so she could not return to her group.

At the exit, one family waited for the other family for a confrontation that turned into a disruptive shouting match. The verbal altercation shifted to a brawl. According to the witnesses, those involved in the fight destroyed most of what was on them: their clothes, accessories, and even their phones.

Some of those involved also reached out to WDWNT to say that their family has been banned for life at Disney World. They were asked to cut short their resort accommodation even if they had been booked for the next two weeks.

It's still unclear if the family plans to contest the lifetime ban or file a lawsuit. They are still waiting for the release of the family member who was brought to the hospital.

Fights at Disney parks have had an uptick since the pandemic

The fight comes after two couples had an altercation in May. The dad complained that a younger couple and their daughter tried to move in front of them on the line during the fireworks show. On the other hand, the younger couple told the police the dad's wife tried to elbow their daughter out of the way, angered the mom.

A tussle ensued between the mothers. Although their husbands tried to break up the fight, the men brawled with each other. The physical violence left one of the moms with a brain bleed and had to be brought to the hospital, per Inside the Magic.

The couples will soon battle it out in court because battery charges were filed before the Florida State Attorney's Office.
