It's Here! Apple Watch Hermes [Price & Where To Buy]

What happens when Apple and Hermes, two big companies, join forces? A product so chic it defines functionality and luxury, strapped to one's wrist.

Apple has released the Apple Watch Hermes, which the company refers to as "a culmination of partnership based on parallel thinking, singular vision, and mutual regard." It's a smartwatch that's designed to function well and look even better.

Hermes, a Paris-based fashion company, has been famed for producing quality luxury leather. This leather is the same material that is handcrafted by French artisans for use as the Apple watch's straps. In addition to the leather strap, Apple had an Hermes watch face custom designed for the new smartwatch model, which makes it "a product of elegant, artful simplicity -- the ultimate tool for modern life."

According to iMore.com, after launching the 18K yellow gold and rose gold editions, Apple showed that it wasn't limiting the Apple watch to be a traditional watch made through common means, and designed with common designs. As such, the Apple Watch Hermes was made.

According to Apple, the new Apple Watch Hermes has different strap variations: the long-strapped Double Tour ($1,250), standard-length Single Tour ($1,150), and the equestrian-inspired cuff ($1,500). They also come in different colors: Fauve Barenia, Etain, Capucine, Bleu Jean, and Noir. All of them still enable the heart rate sensor to stay in contact with the user's wrist.

New York Post reports that contrary to how the tech giant usually sells its products via its own stores, the new watch is also going to be sold beginning this week at some of Target's discount stores. It will be added to Target.com's listings on Oct. 18 and will be sold at Target stores starting Oct. 25, alongside common items such as cereals, umbrellas, and others.

In a press release, Target announced: "Guests can choose from 20 models—in both 38mm and 42mm sizes—including beautiful space gray and rose gold colors. Select models and bands will be available at all Target stores, and an expanded assortment of Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch will be available on Target.com."

Prices will reportedly range from $349 to $599.

CBS news reports that Target is the second chain to sell the famed Apple Watch, following after retail giant Best Buy.

The news outlet adds that the gold edition models, which are priced at $10,000 to $17,000, won't be sold at Target. These will be available at high-end shops, in addition to Apple stores.
