After giving her TiktTok followers a tour of her daughter's new bedroom, Ohio mom Christi Fritz received a lot of criticism for spoiling her 3-year-old with a lavish lifestyle that included three Louis Vuitton handbags and an expensive custom tufted queen-sized bed.

Fritz, who has 1.9 million followers, has gone viral for the room tour that detailed pieces her daughter owned for her new bedroom. Among other things, she has a branded $3,000 bedframe from Armhaus, a bedspread from Anthropologie that likely cost below $320, and a tasseled chandelier priced at $189.

Eagle-eyed followers quickly spotted the handbags and asked why the TikTok mom showers her daughter with luxury pieces. The mother carefully explained that she believes these quality items are suitable investments.

"She has them because we think it's better to invest in high-quality bags that will last a long time," Fritz said via TikTok, adding that one of her daughter's Louis Vuitton handbags is hers. Her toddler wanted it, so the mom gave it to her.

"She'll grow up to be a brat"

But some of the TikTok mom's followers were less than impressed with her display of opulence. A few posted comments alluding that the child will grow up to be a brat if her parents continue to let her have expensive items. Her followers also took issue with how she allows her toddler to do her makeup in her mini-vanity furniture, which likely costs over $300.

The followers also noticed that the child's room was lacking in toys. They said it looks more like a grown-up woman's bedroom than a toddler's.

However, Fritz defended that much of the stuff in her daughter's room was bought on sale or outlet purchases. Her toys have been hidden in the closet to do away with the clutter for the video tour. The mom and her husband also decided on the queen-sized bed instead of a typical bed for a child because her daughter fell in love with it when they were shopping for her stuff.

The mom told her critics that at her daughter's age, she has no idea whether or not the things she owns are expensive. Fritz also said that her child is the sweetest and most grateful toddler, per the New York Post.

On the other hand, some of her followers agreed that the handbags would last when her daughter grew up. They also wondered why people are so mad at Fritz when she spends her money on her daughter.

Celebrity mom criticized for baby's Louis Vuitton handbag

In March, celebrity mother Lala Kent of "Vanderpump Rules" also received a lot of criticism after she posted a photo of herself and her baby girl, one-year-old Ocean, in twinning outfits. The mom and daughter had Louis Vuitton purses, and Ocean clutched her own pint-sized luxury bag, estimated to cost about $880, per Page Six.

Kent explained that she's aware people will think she's nuts for buying the bag for her baby. She confessed she is into bags because her grandmother passed on these investment pieces to her.

The celebrity mom explained that she wanted to give Ocean a gift that would last, which was her first handbag. She also picked a matching piece for herself, estimated at $1,885.
