Tina tried to get out through the tunnel but came to a stop in the middle, declaring that she was "too fat" to turn herself around in the tube, so she had to continue moving forward with her head first, NY Post reports.
In the video, viewers can be heard instructing the grandmom to "just put your head forward."
However, Tina said she found it challenging to get around as she was too fat.
To rescue her mom, Donna's brother and Tina's son climbed into the tunnel next to Tina and used their feet to push her out. Seam tried to show his mom how to turn over, but Tina said she could not do it. Donna, who was filming the incident, said that her battery would be flat by the time she finished the video.
Encouraging crowd
The grandmother's struggle caught the attention of several park-goers. The entire crowd in the playground encouraged Tina to break free from the tunnel as viewers in the background cheered, "come on, Tina!"
Before needing to call the fire department, Tina laid on her back, flipped herself over, and managed to get out.
People were relieved to see the grandmom get out safely, but many flocked to the comments to express how funny they thought the whole experience was.
According to Mirror, someone commented that the video was worth sending to America's Funniest Home Videos, or the U.K. equivalent, "You've Been Framed."
One wrote that she couldn't breathe while watching the events unfold. Another wrote that she was glad the grandmom put her modesty shorts under her dress.
Another comment said that the video made her day.
She must have thought she was a teenager
Someone asked Donna why her mom did not go back the way she came. Donna replied that her brother told their mom she could not return because a queue of children was waiting behind her.
When a commenter asked why her mom got in the tunnel, the daughter said she must have thought she was still a teenager.
