The 45-year-old NFL star sure knows how to prioritize spending time with his family and being there for his children, even if it means jumping on a flight and crossing the distance.
Tom Brady is labeled as a sweet dad and a father who is always there after he flew to New York to be present at the practice football game of his eldest son, 15 years old John "Jack" Edward, an insider told People.
The Super Bowl MVP was reportedly seen in the practice game after his 11-day absence from the NFL team in great spirit, chatting with other parents on the field. He tagged along with him his other children, 12-year-old Benjamin Rein and 9-year-old Vivian Lake, whom he shares with wife Gisele Bündchen, to cheer and show support for Jack, whom he co-parents with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
But this isn't the first time as Brady is known to be a hands-on, supportive, and expressive father to his children and husband to his wife. His social media posts would tell the world that.
The balancing act of fatherhood and football
The NFL player announced his retirement in the first quarter of the year and is currently playing his 23rd season, which is part of his remaining two-year contract.
During the installment of Season 2 of his SiriusXM podcast Let's Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, he openly spoke about how he balances fatherhood and football. He said that he is one to give a hundred percent of his best as a father and also a hundred percent of his best as a football player, never wanting to cheat anyone, whether his family or his fans, when it comes to his commitments.
Brady shared that he cannot stop his personal and family life even if sports is happening. He noted that even if he is playing his 23rd season in football, that will not stop him from having a freshman in high school who is enjoying football too and having other children that have things going on in their lives.
"I have a lot of things that are really important off-field pursuits and goals that you are trying to maximize as well. And, I think once football season comes I really lock in on what I need to do and how I need to focus and the kind of commitment I need to make for the organization so we can maximize our potential as a team," the football player proclaimed.
'Our Family is my greatest achievement'
Despite having all the outstanding achievements every football player dreams off - seven-time super bowl victory, five-time Super Bowl MVP, three-time league MVP, and the oldest player to be named Super Bowl MVP and win a Super Bowl as the starting quarterback at age 43, Brady still considers as his greatest achievement the family that he was able to build with his wife.
In his retirement announcement, which he made on his Instagram account, he called his wife and children his inspiration. He also placed his wife on the pedestal, expressing that she is the most loving and supportive wife who has done everything for the family, allowing him to focus on his career and reach new heights because of her selflessness.
