The new Princess of Wales excels in her new position as she brings a fresh perspective to the role and yet exudes the same charm and fervor exactly like everyone's beloved woman whose shoes she wears today.
A source close to the Royal family spoke to People and revealed that the family is having quite a stressful time as they go back to their work and responsibilities and continue to mourn the late Queen Elizabeth. Kate Middleton, most especially, as she now holds the new title of becoming the first Princess of Wales, following her husband's mother, Princess Diana.
As Prince William steps up the hierarchy and embraces broader responsibilities that come with his new position, such as managing the $1.3 billion Duchy of Cornwall and assisting in King Charles' coronation plans, the next in line to the throne prepares for the future alongside Middleton.
"She is a matriarch. Not in the sense of an older woman in a twin set and pearls, but she guides the family and advises [William] when he wants it," Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Prince William's former private secretary, expressed.
Determined to pave her own path
Middleton's popularity soared higher after King Charles III bestowed the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales to Prince William and her following the Queen's death.
Along with the popularity, however, comes pressure from the public's comparison with the best-loved royal in modern history, Princess Diana. Yet, she is keeping up by undertaking ambitious projects across the United Kingdom on essential matters like child development, mental health, and family well-being.
Asked about Diana's legacy, the palace sources revealed that the current Princess of Wales appreciates the significant history associated with her current role, but she is determined to take on the future, paving her own path with all humility.
Royal family doing the normal family life
One close family friend of the "modern Royal family" declared that Prince Williams and Princess Kate ensure they are doing normal family things as much as possible.
The couple, both 40, relocated at the end of summer with their three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor from London. As they transition and settle into their new home, they are also trying to manage the kids as they settle into their new school.
The couple, however, decided to keep Prince George close to home rather than put him in a boarding school to keep their son's life as normal as can be. They try to do the school drop-off and pick-up on most days, as Lambrook is just a 15-minute drive from their new home.
Insiders revealed that this Royal family enjoys the cottage life as the kids and their friends are in and out of the swimming pool. Prince George comfortably flops onto the sofa beside his father while Charlotte welcomes and entertains familiar guests like a true host.
