A Briish hypnotherapist claims to enlarge breasts by three cup sizes by simple hypnosis.
Felix Economakis, also a counseling psychologist, says that he can actually enlarge breast size through hypnosis by commanding the brain parts that control sex hormones to increase growth. All he charges is $1, 400 for each session.
According to Economakis, the brain has different barriers that restrict the growth of women's breasts. For instance, some women during puberty relate big breasts with unwanted male attention as they are not ready emotionally and hence they produce lesser sex hormones, which restricts breast growth.
"Using hypnosis, I can work directly with the mind. I speak to the part that controls hormones to encourage growth," Economakis told Daily Mail. "The mind basically controls the body and if you know how to work with the mind you can get it to make changes in the body. We know emotions affect the body. When people get stressed they get headaches, for example."
Twenty-six-year-old Ashley Weller claims that she found a difference in her breast size after three sessions with Economakis. Weller, a single mother of three said that she was not happy with her breast size prior to the treatment and thought of seeking help of a hypnotherapist. She said her breast increased from 36C to 36E. "I didn't notice any change straight away. It wasn't until the second session when I noticed my bra felt tight. I feel a lot more confident about my boobs now. It goes to show there's something out there other than surgery. It does work. People should give it a go," Weller told Daily Mail.
The jury is still out on whether the hypnosis is effective or not, but if true it can be a viable alternative to breast enlargement surgeries, which can prove risky.
In 2011, the U.S. witnessed 307,180 procedures for breast enhancement. According to a recent Canadian research, breast implants can be dangerous and risky for women who go in for breast augmentation after cancer. The study also found that women with implants had a 38 percent increased chance of death from breast cancer.
