The actress and mom of two is having a hard time giving herself a break from her busy mommy schedule but encourages fellow mothers to prioritize making time for themselves.

Jessica Biel is working on finding time for herself as a mother of two with a full-load schedule. She shared on Today with Hoda & Jenna last Tuesday that even if she has been a mom for seven years already, she still finds it quite difficult to give herself a break, even though she knows she deserves it.

"[Being a mom] is probably the No. 1 most un-sexy job in the world for the most part. It's the best job, most days, and then it can be such a challenging job. But I think it is important to go on date nights. You have to take the time for yourself. It's so hard. I'm trying to take my own advice. I'm not good at it and I'm still working on finding that balance in my life."

The 40-year-old actress shares two sons Phineas, 2, and Silas, 7, with husband and popstar Justin Timberlake.

Parenting is like running an uphill marathon

Biel was recently in the NYC launch of KinderMed, a line of clean children's medicines she created with co-founder Jeremy Adams, where she admitted that she placed herself at the bottom of her family's "totem pole.''

She has not been great at making time for self-care. The mother told She Knows that parenting can sometimes feel like running a marathon, where there is no downhill, just uphill in both ways. She also admitted that there are times it is swallowing her whole.

However, she would not change a thing. Despite being overwhelmed with motherhood sometimes, there will always be that "surprising depth of love," that cannot be compared to any "me-time" moment.

Her sons bring her so much joy and bring out her best qualities. Moreover, they allow her to see the beauty in all the small things people tend to forget because of their "adult brain," the actress expressed.

But, on those surprisingly possible days to recharge, she goes "collapse" and has an all-girls weekend, where they just sleep the entire time. Sounds like every mom's dream break.

Be 'constant students' of the world

When asked what she is recently teaching her two little boys, the Candy star shared that she's teaching them to be curious.

Biel said she is a "constant student of the world," and she wants their kids to love discovering things and places of the world, People reported.

It is important to her for the kids to be curious about places they have never been to and stuff that will make them better learners and individuals.

She is also grateful that motherhood has opened a whole new world for her, even in her career.

KinderFarms, the Kinder Farmaceutical Company, developed with a team of scientists and pediatricians, aims to provide parents with "peace of mind," knowing that the medicine they're offering their children is safe and natural.

Biel and Adams created the brand with their kids in mind and based on their experiences as parents.

The actress shared that the idea of working on the brand started when both experienced searching for some medication in the middle of the night for their kids to feel better, and yet, frustratingly, they couldn't read the ingredients on the backs of the boxes. The situation raised her "mom red flags."

They also realized that all these medications had "extra artificial ingredients" that were not supposed to be there. They wanted to take those extra ingredients away from their children's medicines. Thus, KinderFarms happened.
