The Colombian singer has one of the greatest bodies in the music industry, and fans have been curious how she does it at the age of 45 and after having 2 kids.

Anna Kaiser, Shakira's personal trainer, is revealing one of the singer's best kept secrets - her breakfast.

Kaiser revealed that Shakira's great body is made possible by, first, not ever skipping breakfast, and second, by the 2 food items that are always part of her breakfast meal.

The singer always has hard-boiled eggs, which are protein-rich and helps her maintain her muscle mass.

She also always has avocado chunks, which effectively preserves the healthy fats one's body needs. Research discovered, as per Nourish by Web Md, that this type of fat, which is also called healthy monounsaturated fat, can help trim the waistline. Moreover, avocados are a great source of fibers that help one lose weight.

The personal trainer of this mother of 2 also stated that she includes tomato, sea salt, and a touch of olive oil in her breakfast. She also drinks either red fruit juice or green juice in the morning.

Eating healthy plus being active

It isn't all eating healthy, though that is half of it.

Shakira is serious in keeping in shape and living a healthy lifestyle even if she isn't preparing for concerts and other performance schedules. She wants to remain healthy in all aspects to be a better mother to her 2 boys, whose activeness and energy she wants to match.

"Every day is different because I want to make sure I'm preparing her not just for her concerts and performances, but for her to be able to handle anything physical (without stress or injury) each day as it arrives - it's about keeping her strong and capable," Kaiser, also the singer's close friend, revealed according to Bodyrock.

She stated that Shakira's routine usually depends on the physical demands of her next workweek. Regularly, they focused on short strength-based workouts in the morning, which uses mostly body weights consisting of the singer's 6 pound weighted training vest and the "old school" ankle weights.

Shakira has a "love-hate relationship" with these "old school" ankle weights, according to Kaiser, as they bring her workout to the next level and really increases the burn.

In the afternoon, the singer will have her dance practice, which on some days are short, meaning it will only be 10 to 15 minutes. On other days, especially if there are upcoming performances, the physical dancing rehearsals will be much longer.

The singer also does isometric exercises, functional training circuits and yoga routines for stretching. And, just recently, she just discovered another way to exercise that made her workout routine more than complete, and helps her burn more than 300 calories per hour.

Shakira practices flyboard, an exercise and sport that allows one to climb out of the water and have stability in the air because of underfoot propulsion. It allows her to have fun on the water but at the same time allows her to keep control of her body while working on balance. It is also said to increase resistance to fatigue, slows down aging, and lowers the risk for blood pressure and high blood glucose level.

Hollywood's personal trainer

Kaiser isn't just Shakira's personal trainer, but is actually a trainer of a lot of Hollywood A-stars.

Marca has reported that her successful career brought about by a personalized training method made her a favorite among celebrities.

When she was having difficulty finding a training method that had everything she needed, she created her own. Surprisingly, what she was looking for, and what she created, resonated with other women. She created her own training method when she couldn't find one that had everything she needed, and it seems what she was looking for resonates with other women, as they also follow her program.

Her signature workout is a mix of interval training, dance, strength and stretching that effectively leads to visible results, and is super fun at the same time.

Aside from Shakira, she also trains Kelly Ripa, Karlie Kloss and Sarah Jessica Parker among other well-known celebrities.
