Kids' names a big no-no?

One mother, however, caused a stir in social media when she declared that no parents should ever get a tattoo of their kids' names, Netmums reported.

Sabrina Rogers-Anderson labeled the trend as "uncool" and "embarrassing" in an article for Kidspot, an Australian website.

She said that there is never a good reason to have someone's name inked on the skin, not even one's child.

She claimed that is far from being a sentimental testament of one's love for the child, "a name tattoo could be a source of embarrassment in years to come," not to the parents, but to the children themselves.

A lot disagreed with her though. Other parents said that a tattoo of a child's name is the "ultimate keepsake."

As actress Drew Barrymore, who got her daughters' names, Olive and Frankie, tattooed on the inside of her wrist in her own handwriting, described her tattoos - "a great little lifetime note on my arm."
