The British actor set the bar high for fellow dads out there as he built a Target play store for his two-year-old daughter.

Rupert Grint guested on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last Monday, where he shared his daughter Wednesday's latest "obsession."

When asked by host Jimmy Fallon what his toddler is into lately, everyone's favorite Wesley answered that Wednesday is into so many things. She is "princess-crazy" like other kids. She loves Philly, hoagies, and water ice, but the little girl is "obsessed with Target."

"She'd choose that over going to the park, or zoo. But she loves going to different Targets and seeing how the layout is kind of slightly different. Sometimes she doesn't buy anything, she just wants to kind of browse. The toy aisle is definitely a draw, but she's more into lip balm, to be fair," Grunt shared enthusiastically.

Because the U.K. has no Target

Wednesday has grown up in America, staying in the country for most of her life as her father has been filming the show "Servant" in Philadelphia. Now that they are back in the U.K., the little girl has been slightly struggling with the transition, Motherly reported.

The actor stated that she had been accustomed to all things American, specifically the Target store. Thus, to help with his daughter's transition to "Target-less U.K." and boost her obsession, the father built her her own mini-Target play store, which he is proud of for capturing its "essence."

It was funny how Grint shared that one of the most difficult conversations he ever had was to explain to Wednesday that she lives in a country with no Target stores. He said he tried to show her an equivalent store in the U.K., but unfortunately, they do not "hold up" for his daughter.

Why Wednesday?

Fallon also commented that he loves that the name of Grint's daughter is Wednesday, saying that it is a very popular name these days and he was "ahead of the curve."

The host then asked why he and his long-time partner Georgia Groome named their daughter Wednesday. And surprisingly, it was inspired by The Addams Family long before the Wednesday series hit Netflix and became iconic.

According to Tyla, the actor said that he has always loved the name and that it is memorable.

Their toddler's full name is Wednesday G. Grint. The actor explained it was inspired by Samuel L. Jackson, as they love the idea of having a middle initial and "speaking the initials."

The 34-year-old Harry Potter star and Groome welcomed their first child Wednesday in 2020 and maintained a lot of privacy regarding their daughter and family.
