Aldrin recently shared the good news that, as he celebrated his 93rd birthday, he was also celebrating his marriage to Dr. Anca Faur, 63.

On his Twitter account, the former American astronaut shared this announcement with his followers.
On Twitter, Aldrin shared two photos from the wedding, one of which showed him wearing a suit adorned with a medal and an Air Force emblem, while the other showed Faur wearing a lace dress.
Both photos were taken during the ceremony, as both of them adored the flower bouquet that Faur was holding.
In a tweet, he expressed his happiness at being able to reveal that he and the woman he has loved for a very long time, Dr. Anca Faur, had finally sealed the wedding on his 93rd birthday, which is also the day the Living Legends of Aviation will celebrate him for his contributions to the aviation industry.
He claimed that they were wed in the sacrament of holy matrimony during the intimate and private ceremony that took place in Los Angeles.
He informed his followers that the couple's level of excitement was comparable to that of young teenagers eloping.
According to The Guardian, Aldrin has gone through the process of being married and then divorcing three times. In 1954, he tied the knot with Joan Ann Archer, and the couple remained married for the next 20 years until deciding to part ways.
From 1975 to 1978, he was married to Beverly Van Zile, and between 1988 and 2012, he was married to Lois Driggs Cannon.
He has three children with his previous wife, Joan Ann; their names are Janice, Andrew, and James. In addition to this, he is the proud grandfather of one grandson, three great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Faur holds a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering. According to the information provided on her LinkedIn page, she also holds the position of executive vice president at the firm owned by Mr. Aldrin, which is known as Buzz Aldrin Ventures.
