Enough is enough! A father amusingly informs his entire family that he wants out of their family group chat as he just can't keep up.
Allison D'Orazio took to Twitter and shared a screenshot of a message her dad Thomas sent in the family's group chat for fun, not knowing that it would go viral.
Her 51-year-old father sent them a message explaining that he could not anymore keep up with the never-ending stream of messages on their GC. Further, he exclaimed that he always gets pressured with needing to interact or respond with every message, photo or video being sent.
"I can't keep up with the pressure of always having to lol or like or heart everyone's random thoughts, pics, and amusements. For all future texts: I love them, laugh at them, or like them unless it's bad, then I dislike them. In perpetuity. I can't live with this pressure. I'm out," their father said in the cutest, funniest way.
He then signed his "epic note" with, "a grumpy guy from the pre-cellphone era," making it so much more delightful
The internet loves him too
His 23-year-old daughter burst out laughing when she read his message. And, the internet thinks he is hilarious too.
The screenshot of Thomas' message went viral, garnering more than 424, 000 as of today.
A lot also responded to Allison's tweet commenting that it is a parent thing and then sharing their own experience about their dad or mom who also cannot deal with their family's group chat.
Another screenshot was posted by Allison where his father messaged them, saying that he would not be reading all the messages posted on the group chat, and he is just happy for them or sorry that it happened.
The family's group chat consists of Allison's mother, Amy, and her younger sister, 19-year-old Alexa, People reported.
Allison explained in a follow-up tweet that her dad just loves a simple life and he gets bombarded with "extroverted girlies" that are always busy doing something and sending random things on the GC all day long, especially her mom.
She described her father as the "perfect human being" that is kind and engaged with his family's individual lives. Thus, what really frustrates him is the inability to comment or respond to all the messages because he would love to.

Dad did not leave the GC
A graduate student at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, Allison feels that she's the culprit who pushed her dad to the edge.
She shared to Today that she kept on sending photos of "every single stitch" she was doing for her sewing project.
When asked if her father actually did leave the family's group chat, Allsion said he did not, though they can never tell if he's muted it.
