The media personality just revealed that she and husband have started 2023 by welcoming their first baby together. And, it's a boy!
Paris Hilton starts the new year with a new role - mommy!
"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy," the new mom exclusively told People.
The businesswoman and husband Carter Reum, both 41 years old, are now proud parents of their first child, via surrogate.
'Already loved beyond words'
Hilton took to Instagram yesterday to share the exciting news to her fans and followers, posting a close-up photo of the baby's hand clasping her thumb.
The post with the caption, which says that the baby is "already loved beyond words," touched the hearts of many.
Friends from the industry like Chrissy Teigen, who just gave birth, Miranda Kerr, Naomi. Kris Jenner, Lindsay Lohan, and Selma Blair all expressed their congratulations to the parents and their greatest blessing.
Hilton's sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild also expressed her congratulations via Instagram by posting a throwback photo of them as children sitting on their mom Kathy Hilton's lap.
The 39-year-old fashion designer captioned her post welcoming Hilton to "mommyhood," and saying that motherhood has "no greater love" and is "the most beautiful ride." She concluded by declaring that Hilton is going to be the "best mommy" to their "lucky boy."

Started IVF during pandemic
Hilton has always been open about her and Reum's desire to be parents, even noting that they have been talking about having kids since after a few months of dating.
When she guested on The Bellas Podcast last April, she expressed how she na husband would love to have twins and to have three to four children overall.
At the same time, Hilton has also been open about the challenges of getting pregnant and shared with People last December that she and Reum decided to do the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) process at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Love Rush fragrance founder shared how they started going and doing it while the "world was shut down." Knowing that they wanted to start a family as soon as possible, getting all of the "eggs stocked and ready" just made sense when the pandemic gave them the gift of time, as Hilton gets to be very busy on normal times. As she described, being in and out of a plane in 250 days a year.
Hilton and Reum reconnected in 2019 after knowing each other for 15 long years. After more than a year of dating, Reum proposed on a private island and they got engaged in February 2021. Nine months later, the two got married in November in a three-day wedding ceremony, with the fashionista having 10 outfit changes.
In an interview with Vogue, Hilton shared how their relationship is "one of equals," making each other so much better people. Reum was definitely worth the wait, she added.
