Former Texas high school athletes were killed in a crash after a high-speed chase with police.
The police authorities were trying to ticket the young athletes for overspeeding along U.S. 190. They tried to pull over the vehicle driven by Phabian Bynaum, 19, and his passengers, Malik Thomas, 21, and Davarius Bynaum, 20.
However, instead of stopping, Bynaum panicked and led the police on a chase down U.S. 190 at high speed, leading to a life-threatening disaster.

According to Fox News, after Bynaum sped away from the police, he continued to drive recklessly.
Sheriff Mike Clore of Milam County said Bynaum was moving on U.S. 190 between Cameron at speed more than 20 miles per hour above the posted limit. He added that after one of his deputies failed to stop the vehicle, a chase ensued.
Bynaum allegedly lost control of his vehicle, a 2015 Dodge Challenger, as law enforcement pursued him and attempted to pass another vehicle. This is according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. His vehicle went through a fence, hit a tree, overturned, and then caught fire in the middle of a field.
The New York Post reported that under Texas law, vehicles are required to pull over to the right side of the road and come to a complete stop if they are approached by an emergency vehicle whose lights and sirens are activated.
Attempting to elude police authorities while driving a motor vehicle is not only a violation of the state's traffic rules but also jeopardizes the lives of everyone who uses the road.
