Renee Zellweger is already in the midst of filming the third "Bridget Jones" movie, and just recently she and her baby bump was spotted in the streets of London.
Of course, since the third movie is called "Bridget Jones' Baby," Zellweger's baby bump comes as no surprise, as her famous character is definitely in the family way. In doing the first two "Bridget Jones" movies, Zellweger had to gain weight as her character, who is based on the books written by Helen Fielding, is supposed to be on the heavy side. This time, she hasn't had any weight gain based on the photos, but she has prosthetics for the baby belly.
In photos taken of the actress in the set at South London, Zellweger handled her fake baby belly like a pro. She was seen wearing a striped maternity outfit with jeans, boots and a shopping bag.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the actress was also spotted wearing a "Baby on Board" pin in one of her scenes with actress Sally Philips who plays Bridget's best friend in the movie.
Co-star Patrick Dempsey was also on the set at Greenwich park, according to Daily Mail. In fact, a few weeks ago, Dempsey posted on his social media that he's on location in England for the movie shoot. "Nice to be working in England. Renee and Colin are an absolute joy to work with! A good couple of days rehearsing at Pinewood Studios. I really like it here!" wrote Patrick on his Instagram.
The actor is the newest character to be introduced in the film after Hugh Grant dropped from the project citing that the new movie is way different.
"I decided not to do it, but I think they're going to go ahead and do it without Daniel," said Grant via Entertainment Tonight. "The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different. Well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago."
Meanwhile, Zelwegger's other co-star, Colin Firth, has not yet been seen in the shooting locations. According to Us Weekly, there is little information about the movie's plot but "Bridge Jones: The Edge of Reason" ended with Bridget and Mark living happily together. There are concerns about Firth's character dying in the third film though as this is what happened to his character, Mark Darcy, in the books.
"Bridget Jones Baby" is scheduled to be in theaters in Sept. 2016.
