The singer dishes out that her husband hates dips, even ketchup, which is the only reason they fight.

Meghan Trainor visited Gaby Dalkin's My Best Friend's Kitchen and admitted how her husband Daryl Sabara hates all dips as they prepare one with labneh, feta, and garlic for the show.

"I will tell you right now that my husband - he might be a serial killer because he doesn't love dips. That's the only place we fight. I think he'd eat this to be polite," the 29-year-old pop singer stated.

Dalkin could not help but laugh in disbelief and then asked her guest whether Sabara does not like ketchup, to which the singer divulged that her husband is also not a huge fan of the condiment.

Dalkin then confirmed that Sabara is, indeed, an "anti-dip" kind of person.

LQ over soy sauce

Yet, the Grammy award-winning musician was not finished with her revelation. She narrated how the two of them had a lover's quarrel at a sushi restaurant just because of soy sauce.

According to People, Trainor pressed her husband to add soy sauce to his sushi, and Sabara kept refusing, insisting that he likes it just plain.

Dalkin then quipped that she now agrees with the singer in calling her husband a "serial killer," commenting further that if she did not know Sabara as the "the nicest, cutest dad of all time," she would be very concerned.

The couple got married on December 22, 2018, in a backyard wedding in their Los Angeles home. The two began dating in July 2016 and got engaged in December 2017.

They now have an almost two-year-old baby boy, Riley, their first child, whom they welcomed in February 2021.

Last month, the "Made You Look" singer hinted at a potential second baby in 2023, stating that she dreams of having four children and hopefully gets one this year. She further shared that they have a schedule, and she plans to be knocked up in November or December.

The singer is as serious in her baby-making project as her album creation, confessing that she also has plans to increase the chances of having a baby girl as she would love to have a daughter. She said she plans to eat many "acidy foods" because she heard those would help create one.

Another dream ticked off her dream list

Well, indeed, dreams do come true, at least for Trainor.

The singer did an "Instagram reveal" Monday, where she posted a photo of herself in her bedazzled sunglasses and puckered lips holding black and white ultrasound images. Tagging her husband, she announced that baby number two is on the way and is arriving this summer.

Trainor guested the Today show's Monday morning episode, where she gushed and shared the great news that they did it because she is pregnant, as was the plan, US Weekly reported.
