The supermodel wished her ex-husband the best in response to his retirement announcement via social media.
Gisele Bündchen had no problem giving her ex-husband, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, a beautiful message after the latter took to Instagram and revealed the big news that he was finally retiring for good via a video.
The mother of two commented on Brady's video stating that she wishes him only wonderful things as he enters a new season of his life, Today reported.
Her message proved that the two were serious about having a healthy relationship as co-parents who only want the best for their kids.
Moved on
A source close to the supermodel stated that Bündchen is "sincerely happy" for her ex-husband, his decision, and whatever he does. She has nothing negative to express, but the source emphasized that while she is fine with his decisions, she was not involved with any of them.
"Gisele moved on with her life quite a while ago and is happy about whatever Tom chooses to do with his life now. Keeping a positive attitude about Tom and her career is part of what you do as a parent. They are sharing their kids and spreading the love between them, so they grow up as normal kids with two caring parents," the insider exclusively told People, adding that what truly is her top priority is their children's welfare and happiness.
When asked how the 42-year-old fashion model was, the source answered that she is optimistic about the future and is immensely busy with her career and life.
Another insider close to the former couple also stressed to the news outlet that the 45-year-old NFL quarterback's decision to return to playing after he announced his first retirement was "far from the only issue" they were having in the marriage. And, Bündchen does not want to dwell on those issues anymore. The source stated that the Brazilian model chooses to keep things positive and does not want any toxicity. She sincerely wants her-ex husband to "thrive as that would be more beneficial and empowering for their children."

From what sparks joy to sparking a debate
Unlike his emotional retirement essay last year, Brady opted to announce his second retirement simply and in the most direct way.
He recorded himself telling his fans and the public that he was "retiring for good." He stated that when he woke up, he just figured to record and let his fans know firsthand. He then posted the video on his Instagram account Wednesday with the caption that expresses love and gratitude to his family, teammates, friends, coaches, and football.
He also stressed that there was nothing he would change about his career.
Brady played for 23 seasons in the NFL and won seven Super Bowl titles during that period. He announced his first retirement last year in February, only to change his mind 40 days later.
According to ESPN's Jeff Darlington, he informed the Buccaneers of his decision at 6 A.M. that Wednesday.
The owners of the Buccaneers, the Glazer family, expressed in a statement that the ex-quarterback has a "legendary career" that "set an exceptional standard," placing the entire organization to new heights and making numerous most iconic moments in football history.
