Assaulting girls and pulling a gun at California High School

Fox News reported that during a basketball game between Centennial High School and Santiago High School, an altercation between two players on the court resulted in a dangerous and alarming situation.

According to witnesses, the altercation started after a foul was called, leading to some pushing and shoving between the players. However, the situation quickly escalated when a spectator, identified as Brooks, left the stands and punched several players. The altercation resulted in several players being injured and Brooks being forcibly removed from the court by another fan.

As Brooks was leaving the gymnasium, he threatened to get a gun, causing alarm among those present.

He walked to the parking lot, retrieved a handgun from his vehicle, and then pointed the weapon at several students, including female students aged 13 to 17.

The mere presence of a firearm at a high school event is a terrifying experience for anyone involved, and the fact that the suspect was pointing the weapon at students only exacerbated the situation.

Despite his threatening behavior, Brooks fled the area before police arrived at the school. According to Concho Valley, the immediate response by law enforcement ensured that the situation was contained and the community was kept safe.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the motive behind Brooks' actions and ensure he is held accountable.

Thaddis Brooks is now in custody

The Press-Enterprise reported that law enforcement searched Brooks' residence on Chamberlin Creek Way and found over 40 dogs on the property, leading animal control officers to suspect animal cruelty.

Although no guns were found, Brooks was arrested on several charges, including making criminal threats, brandishing a deadly weapon, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm on school grounds, and child abuse.

He was being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center on $350,000 bail, and it was unknown if he had hired an attorney to represent him.

Brooks, the stepfather of a Centennial player, is prohibited in all facilities in the Corona-Norco Unified School District.

It was revealed that Brooks has a history of criminal charges, including several felony convictions in San Bernardino County, such as battery causing serious bodily injury, drug possession, making criminal threats, and illegal possession of ammunition, which was later reduced to a misdemeanor.
