A horrific mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets in Texas over the weekend has left a community in mourning. The shooting rampage, which occurred on Saturday, May 7, claimed the lives of eight innocent victims, including three young children.

NBC News reported that the shooter, identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, reportedly opened fire inside the Allen Premium Outlets, located about 25 miles north of Dallas.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, and chaos ensued as shoppers and employees fled the scene.
According to authorities, Garcia killed eight people and injured at least six others before being fatally shot by police. Among the victims were three young children, whose lives were tragically cut short.
Kyu Song Cho, 37; Cindy Cho, 35; and their 3-year-old son James were all killed in the shooting. The only surviving member of the family is the couple's oldest child, William, who just turned 6, according to a GoFundMe campaign created to help the family.
The two other children who lost their lives in the shooting were sisters Daniela Mendoza, a fourth-grader at Cox Elementary in Sachse, Texas, and Sofia Mendoza, a second-grader.
According to ABC, two young girls, aged 8 and 11, were among those killed in the mass shooting, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The girls were not identified by name, but their principal, Krista Wilson, expressed her grief, saying that Daniela and Sofia were kind and thoughtful students with bright smiles. The girls' mother, Ilda, was critically injured in the shooting and is receiving medical care.
Aside from the children, the shooting also claimed the lives of Aishwarya Thatikonda, a 26-year-old project engineer; Christian LaCour, a mall security guard; and Elio Cumana-Rivas, 32.
Thatikonda was also a representative of the Telugu Association of North America, an organization that supports the Telugu community. The association is now helping Thatikonda's family with funeral arrangements, including sending her remains to India.

A social media account linked to the suspect and seen by BBC News contained photos of Nazi swastikas and SS tattoos, along with other posts glorifying Nazis and promoting violence.
Additionally, the suspect had posted pictures from previous visits to the outlet mall, as recently as mid-April.
