In a shocking and heartbreaking incident, an Ohio father, Chad Christopher Doerman, has been accused of executing his three young sons before being apprehended by responding deputies. According to FOX News, the disturbing events were captured on bodycam video, revealing the calm demeanor of the accused on his porch as law enforcement officers discovered the children's bodies scattered across the lawn.
Doerman, 32, is currently held on three charges of aggravated murder for the shooting deaths of his sons, aged 3, 4, and 7. The bodycam footage shows deputies arriving at the scene after receiving 911 calls on the afternoon of June 15. Taking precautions, the deputies cautiously approached Doerman, who seemed to disregard some of their commands but was eventually taken into custody without further violence.

As the officers approached, Doerman remained seated on the front porch. They repeatedly instructed him to show his hands and stand up. He remained seated, elbows resting on his knees, with empty and open palms. A rifle lay by his side, and he appeared to have a smear of blood on his left arm. With caution, one deputy firmly grasped his wrist and the back of his neck, forcefully bringing him down to the ground. Another officer quickly handcuffed him.
According to USA Today, black bars cover the areas of the released videos where the boys' bodies were lying on the grass. Once Doerman was in custody, the deputies immediately attempted to render aid to the victims. During the medical treatment, one deputy questioned Doerman about his actions. Doerman, still handcuffed and lying prone on the ground, asked if he could roll over, assuring them he wouldn't harm anyone. The deputy pressed for answers, to which Doerman responded that nothing was going on and requested permission to stand up due to discomfort.
As Doerman was picked up from the ground, another officer arrived to escort him to a police cruiser. On the way, Doerman requested a deputy retrieve his wallet from his pocket. In response, the officer curtly reminded him of his right to remain silent, urging him to use it and expressing frustration with his behavior.

Aside from the charges related to his sons' deaths, Doerman is also accused of injuring their mother during the attack. At his arraignment, prosecutors alleged that he confessed to lining up his sons in the yard before fatally shooting them. The Clermont County Prosecutor, Mark Tekulve, described the crime as sickening and horrifying, emphasizing the unimaginable terror the young boys experienced as their own father, their supposed protector, took their lives.
Authorities reported that one of the sons attempted to escape, but Doerman allegedly chased him down, brought him back home, and subsequently shot him. Doerman is scheduled to appear in court again on June 26. The tragic incident has left the community and the nation shocked and deeply saddened.
