Rumors that Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder are heading to splitsville were squashed Saturday when the couple attended the Hammer Museum's 13th Annual Gala in California. Witnesses who saw the pair said that they were heavy on the PDA and they looked very much in love.
According to People, Julia pointed to her husband when they asked her about obsessions. The news outlet also reported that the two were attached to each other for most of the evening and were "holding hands and making each other laugh."
Julia also revealed that it was her husband who picked out the outfit she was wearing for the gala, a Bottega Veneta blazer and dress combination.
On the other hand, Danny didn't think twice about complementing his wife in public. "Nice color, nice shape. She wears it well," he told People.
Early on, Celeb Dirty Laundry dished that Danny already moved out of the couple's Malibu house in September, and that Julia was actually spending a lot of time with actor Keifer Sutherland, her ex-boyfriend.
"Julia has been pouring her heart out to Kiefer. He is helping her forget about her marriage troubles," according to a source.
Another source claimed that the problems in their marriage can no longer be fixed.
"Those close to them are saying that if they can't resolve their differences, it will ultimately destroy the marriage - and that they will divorce," the source told InTouch, according to Aces Showbiz. "Their differences are proving insurmountable."
Gossip Cop shunned the reports by the tabloids by pointing out that the couple couldn't be on the verge of divorce. In fact, Julia and Danny spent summer with the kids with one of Julia's dear friends, George Clooney.
Furthermore, Julia spoke about working with her husband on the set of her newest film, "Secret in Their Eyes," with Nicole Kidman. Danny was the movie's cinematographer. "I don't know if I would have succeeded in some of the efforts that I made if he hadn't been in such close physical proximity to me.... There's something about having the safest place in the world for you in the same room," says the actress in the October issue of Allure.
Julia and Danny married in 2002 and have three kids together - the twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 10 and younger son Henry, 8. Despite her high profile status in Hollywood, Julia does her best to keep her children and her family away from the spotlight.
