Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, weeks after giving birth to her daughter, is back in to her pre-pregnancy shape!
Anderson gave birth to her second child Penelope in May. Baby Penelope is the first child of the fitness guru with her husband Matt Mogol. She has a 13-year-old son from her marriage with Eric Anderson, former NBA star.
Anderson shared the secret of her fitness with DuJour magazine recently. Though she gained 60 pounds during her first pregnancy, she became more health conscious after conceiving her second child and only gained 30 pounds.
To maintain a healthy weight she avoided overeating and exercised throughout her pregnancy.
"A lot of women use pregnancy as an excuse to let their bodies go, and that's the worst thing. I feel like I've lived an entire lifetime since then," Tracy told DuJour magazine.
Anderson admitted loosing the baby weight the most difficult part in pregnancy .
"I've seen so many women who come to me right after [having children] with disaster bodies that have gone through hell, or they come to me years later and say, "Oh, my body is like this because I had three kids,"' she explained to the magazine.
"I know that the journey of getting back to your best level of performance physically is very hard, but it's an incredibly empowering place to be."
Molly Sims and Gwyneth Paltrow are some of the celebrity moms included in Anderson's client list.
According to the trainer, pregnant women should concentrate on muscular work and not on dance aerobics.
"This isn't just some motivating, fun workout to do. It's results-oriented. You'll see results through your pregnancy and you'll be able to get your body back faster afterward," she told the magazine.
