Kim Kardashian is currently pregnant with her second child with superstar husband, Kanye West. It's been well-documented that the reality star doesn't have the easiest pregnancy, it seems more challenges are up ahead.
In a new promo for season 11 of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", Mrs. West has opened up about possibly having gestational diabetes. The 34-year-old TV star, who is expecting her second child in December, has suffered from preeclampsia, reports People.
Her doctor warned in the footage, "Once you have preeclampsia, you're at risk of having it again." Kim is seen telling her sister Kourtney Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner that doctors found more fluid than normal in her placenta, which could mean diabetes.
The news comes after Kim admitted on her website earlier this month her true feelings about pregnancy. Fans will recalls how she disclosed that pregnancy was "the worst experience of my life! LOL! I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it." She continued to reveal, "I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it," she added. However, she does believe that it's all "worth it when you have your precious baby in the end."
Gestational diabetes often happens during pregnancy when women, typically in their third trimester, develop diabetes. However, this condition usually disappears after giving birth. Women who are found to have gestational diabetes will require strict monitoring of their blood glucose (sugar) levels. In some cases, some may require medication.
Kim is married to music mogul Kanye West, 38, and is the mother of North, aged 2.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Break
In addition to Kim's sneak peek, the promo also gave audiences a glimpse of what's happening between exes Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. Mail Online notes how the dad-of-three with Kourt admitted to Kris, "It's been a really hard time, going from like, having all of you guys to having nobody." He continues to say, "I f***ed up. I made the worst decision I could have ever made in my life."
We also see how Kourtney tears up upon hearing the feelings and admission of her ex-boyfriend of nine years on how much he missed his family. Kourtney, however, wasn't going to be swayed. She confronted Disick saying, "You forget what happens when you're on a binge."
Season 11 of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premieres Nov. 15 at 9 p.m., on E!
