Following news that the popular men's magazine, Playboy, is ending its publication of nude women by March 2016, there is buzz going around that Kris Jenner would like to have the Kardashians take part in the magazine's final nude photoshoot.
According to Hollywood Life, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" momager is said to be keen on having all of the Kardashian-Jenner women, including Caitlyn Jenner, pose naked for Playboy's final nude issue. Kris apparently got the idea from her daughter, Kim.
"Kris likes Kim's idea of being on the last nude Playboy issue, but likes the idea of having all the girls on the cover and inside pictorials as a better idea," the source told the news outlet. "She would love to see Kim, Kendall, Kylie, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and herself do it. And she also thinks that if Caitlyn wanted to do it by all means, she should join in the fun as well."
In another Hollywood Life report, Kim allegedly told her husband, Kanye West, that she's determined on losing weight right after she gives to their second child in December. It's because she would like to achieve her goal of becoming "memorialized in the pages of Playboy to end an era," the source said. Kim has graced Playboy's issues in the past, the most memorable of which was back in 2007, after the release of her infamous sex tape. The reality TV star posed nude for the magazine's December issue, according to Sunday World.
But according to Gossip Cop, the reports by Hollywood Life are fabricated and a rep for the Kardashians said that the stories are "pure fantasy."
Playboy's CEO Scott Flanders announced Tuesday that it was changing the magazine's direction next year. "The political and sexual climate of 1953, the year Hugh Hefner introduced Playboy to the world, bears almost no resemblance to today," he said, as reported by Fox News.
"We are more free to express ourselves politically, sexually and culturally today, and that's in large part thanks to Hef's heroic mission to expand those freedoms. We will stay true to those core values with this new vision of Playboy's future."
Playboy's redesign will be headed by Cory Jones, the magazine's chief content officer, and will introduce a "safe-for-work" format that will be filled with sexy and provocative photos only. "You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it's just passé at this juncture," said Flanders via the Associated Press.
