The hype about HBO's popular drama-fantasy series "Game of Thrones" is becoming more intense. Sightings of the TV series' filming in different European cities are making headlines. New reports are pointing to Lena Headey's return.
According to Christianity Daily, Headey is back to filming. The 42-year-old actress was spotted by fans wearing her costume on the set. She was wearing a short blonde wig due to Cersei's unforgettable walk of shame in "Game of Thrones" season 5 finale, entitled "Mother's Mercy."
Headey was at the beach in the city that faces the Adriatic Sea. The report stressed that the city has been traditionally standing in for King's Landing in the TV series.
Headey was accompanied by Thor Bjornsson, who plays Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane in the series. Clegane was mortally wounded, but he was saved from death and was transformed into Ser Robert Strong, a blue-tinged member of the Kingsguard.
Clegane may not get any dialogue in the next season because he has taken a "vow of silence" until all of the enemies of the queen are dead, International Business Times has learned.
According to the report, Headey donned a colored gown, a first since the death of her son, Joffrey Barratheon. With this, there are speculations that the mother-of-two is not aware of her daughter, Myrcella's passing.
Myrcella was allowed to return to King's Landing after being sent to Dorne for a marriage pact. However, on her way home, she was poisoned by Ellaria Sand which caused her death.
"I don't think she's incredibly happy. I don't think she likes very many people, even less than before, if that's even possible. She's made more enemies," Headey said of her character Cersei, who is expected by many to take revenge.
"I think she's in a state of pure vengeance, but I don't think it's going to be straightforward because it's her. It is exciting. If I don't die," Headey added.
On the other hand, there are rumors about Jaime and Cersei's reconciliation. Of all the couple in "Game of Thrones," the pair is the most controversial because their relationship involved incest, CarterMatt reports. Jaime and Cersei have never been the same after the death of their son Joffrey.
"Game of Thrones" does not really punish the wicked, so after Cersei's Walk of Shame, she can still have a happy ending with Jaime. They both love each other and when it comes to politics, they are stronger together.
However, will Cersei be forgiving when she finds Jaime back from the Dorne without Myrcella? Will Cersei and Jaime reconcile? Let's find out.
"Game of Thrones" season 6 will premiere in Spring 2016.
