The family of Marissa Carmichael is chattering in deep anguish as one month passed since she went missing.

Greensboro, North Carolina, police are detailing updated information on the investigation for the mother of five, who vanished on January 14 after a frightening 911 call at an Exxon gas station on E. Market St.

Police Releases New Details on North Carolina Mom's Disappearance

In a latest statement, the police uncovered that surveillance footage shows Carmichael getting into a car at the Exxon station shortly after her 911 call. The driver of the vehicle has been known and interviewed as a witness in the case.

Carmichael's distressed 911 call disclosed that a man had driven off with her phone, leaving her helpless, and she asked help from the police to find a ride home.

Her young sister, Emma Villegas, sent a warm message, assuring Marissa of their persistent search and the children's concern.

Marissa's mother, Sara Carmichael, who filed the missing person's report, described the family as devastated and fears her daughter may be held against her will.

While the police refrain from commenting on foul play, they continue to seek information, expressing increasing concern for Marissa's welfare.

Sara Carmichael expressed frustration with the initial police response time, stating that she was told to wait 48 hours before her daughter could be considered missing.

The family last saw Marissa on January 13, and her sudden inactivity on social media and turned-off phone since January 14 heightened concerns.

North Carolina Mom Disappears After 911 Call

According to Sara, Marissa mentioned going to the club and attending an after-party at an Airbnb on the night before her disappearance.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account to raise funds for a private investigator, emphasizing their commitment to finding answers.

Crime Stoppers is reiterating the call for information regarding a young woman who disappeared absolutely one month ago in Greensboro, North Carolina

In a Facebook post by the Greensboro Police Department, it was declared that Marissa Carmichael, 25, has disappeared since Wednesday, with the last seen on surveillance footage captured by the police at an Exxon station on East Market Street.

On January 14 around 3:40 a.m., Carmichael described to 911 that her phone was abducted, and she was left at the gas station.

Despite police appearing at 4:21 a.m., she was not present at the Exxon station. Surveillance footage showed Carmichael approaching a car and escaping from the station.

The individual driving the car has been detected and interviewed by the police, considered a witness in the case.

Carmichael's family has been earnestly seeking data about the whereabouts of the mother of five in the past weeks.

Defined as a biracial woman, approximately 5-foot-4, and weighing around 260 pounds, she has long black and blond braids, with a heart tattoo on her face and a butterfly tattoo near her eye.

She was last seen wearing a white Tweety Bird T-shirt, blue jeans, and yellow sneakers, according to Crimestoppers.

Sara, Carmichael's mother, uttered the emotional cost of the situation, stating, "I'll have my moments where I fall apart, and I just can't function...Then I just kind of have to pick myself up and put myself back together and just focus on Marissa. I just wish her home so I can confine the world out and take care of her and get her to where she needs to be."
