Despite extensive searches, Caleb Harris disappearance continues to grip the community, as efforts to locate him persist, missing one week after his disappearance.

Caleb Harris, a student at Texas A&M, was last seen when he ventured downstairs to retrieve an Uber Eats delivery from his residence in Corpus Christie at 3 a.m. on March 4.

The parents of the Texas student are fervently hoping for his safe return, as he vanished without a trace from his college apartment during the early hours of the night.

The 21-year-old had spent the previous evening engaging with a recently acquired canine companion of one of his two roommates, entertaining himself until moments prior to his sudden disappearance by exchanging Snapchats with his sister.

According to Uber, the requested delivery was successfully dropped off at the designated location in front of the apartment complex on Ennis Joslin Road, where Caleb resided. However, there was no trace of him, as he had deactivated his phone just seconds earlier.

Randy Harris, Caleb's father, expressed his bewilderment, stating, "He kind of vanished." He emphasized the absence of any incriminating evidence, leaving both the family and law enforcement grasping for any leads.

Caleb, an avid angler, shared living quarters with two childhood friends from his hometown of New Braunfels. On the night of his disappearance, an additional friend from his past also visited.

At 2 a.m., one of the roommates observed Caleb organizing fishing gear for an upcoming excursion, followed by his placement of an Uber order at 2:20 a.m.

Shortly thereafter, Caleb decided to take the dog for a walk outside, capturing the moment on Snapchat at 2:44 a.m., depicting the canine in a nearby parking lot.

Twelve minutes later, Caleb returned to the apartment, leaving the dog behind. Notably, his phone remained active until this point.

Sometime thereafter, the Uber delivery reached the doorstep, marking the last recorded interaction before Caleb's perplexing disappearance, during which he left without his personal effects, including his wallet and truck keys.

Subsequently, one of his roommates stumbled upon the untouched food on the doorstep, prompting the reporting of Caleb's absence at 11 a.m. the following morning.

Randy Harris underscored the profound impact of Caleb's preparations for the future, including academic pursuits and fishing endeavors, which were abruptly halted by his disappearance. He disclosed Caleb's plans to venture to Alaska for employment during the upcoming summer.

Efforts to locate Caleb Harris, a 21-year-old student at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, have honed in on areas surrounding his residence at a North Padre Island apartment complex, alongside eastern and southern regions of the community, as detailed by NBC affiliate WOAI of San Antonio.

The search has garnered significant community support, with hundreds of volunteers aiding law enforcement personnel, including Corpus Christi Police Department officers and U.S. Coast Guard members are scouring the designated areas in hopes of finding Harris.

Randy Harris, Caleb's father, lauded the Corpus Christi Police Department's diligent efforts, commending their transparency and dedication to the investigation. "They're letting us know what's going on. They're doing a lot of things behind the scenes," he expressed, emphasizing the family's gratitude for their unwavering commitment.

Similarly, Caleb's mother, Becky, fondly described her son as "fun-loving and joyful," highlighting his amiable personality.

She expressed her faith in a higher power, stating, "We know that God knows exactly where he is." Becky remained hopeful, relying on prayer and divine protection for Caleb's safe return."

"We're hoping that he is crying out to him and recalling scripture and has a hedge of protection around him wherever he is," she remarked, anticipating the revelation of Caleb's whereabouts and his eventual safe reunion with the family.
