Dad Jay Posts Adorable Videos Showcasing His Daughter

Dad Jay, known for his Instagram handle @dadsdoittoo, frequently shares delightful videos featuring himself and his daughter Tatum, who bears a striking resemblance to him. However, a recent video, posted on April 6, has sparked conversation.

In the video, Jay informs Tatum that she has 20 seconds to express herself freely without fear of reprisal. With a confident "I got this" from Tatum, Jay closes the door.

What transpires is a genuine and empowering exploration of self-love. Tatum proudly stated, "I'm a queen! I'm a young queen! I'm a superstar!"

She continues, asserting her beauty, intelligence, and self-love, even offering a nod to her Barbie doll, asserting, "I'm a Barbie, and I look pretty."

Tatum's reference to Barbie caught the attention of the official Barbie Instagram account, which commented on the video with encouragement.

This video aligns with a social media trend where parents allow their children brief moments of privacy in the bathroom to express themselves without judgment.

While many similar videos feature humorous or even foul language, few match the inspiring nature of this one. Jay expressed pride in Tatum's motivational mirror speech, emphasizing his efforts to nurture her confidence and intellect.

"I try my best to motivate my daughter and build her up," Jay stated. "This time she showcased her confidence and intelligence."

4-Year-old Daughter Disrupts Dad at His Work

A Nebraska TV journalist found himself repeatedly overshadowed by his 4-year-old daughter during a storm report in Lincoln, a situation he admits was entirely his fault.

Brandon Aksamit's error was bringing his daughter to work with him.

In a video shared by News Channel Nebraska, Aksamit can be seen updating viewers on a snowstorm (which had accumulated 5 inches at that point) when his daughter enters the frame with a snowball.

Over the next minute, the giggling girl throws four snowballs at him, despite his pleas for her to stay out of the shot. "That's funny, but you can't do that," he tells her.

She then crawls behind him on all fours, bringing the report to a halt.

Aksamit humorously commented on the mishap in a Facebook post, writing, "When you quickly discover the potential pitfalls of bringing your 4-year-old daughter with you for a ... live snow report."

News Channel Nebraska shared the video on January 8, describing it as an "adorable" consequence of reporting on winter weather.

By January 11, the video had been viewed over 280,000 times, with nearly 9,000 reactions and comments. Many viewers found it very funny and empathized with the difficulties parents face when daycare is canceled due to snow.

"This is the best news broadcast I've seen today," remarked Shaunte Dean on Facebook.

"I almost spat out my coffee when I saw just the top of her hat crawl by!" Carolyn Whittington Langley joked.

"I've watched this at least a dozen times. Please keep taking her to work with you!" added Pamala Anne Winer.

"When it's a snow day and it becomes bring your child to work day, this is what happens! Can't beat that big ole grin on her face!" commented Kaylee Reinsch.
