A 6-week-old baby from Tennessee succumbed to death after a Siberian Husky dog attack.

The Tennessee baby, mauled by their family dog, was only 6 weeks old when he was attacked by their seemingly sweet and gentle house husky.

The baby, 6-month-old Ezra Mansoor, was attacked ruthlessly in his crib in the Mansoor family's Knoxville home.

The 6-week-old baby did not immediately fall fatal to its injuries. Fortunately, the infant was immediately rushed to get life-saving medical attention after the attack.

However, Ezra had been in critical condition for nearly a week before succumbing to his severe injuries on Thursday. His grieving parents, Chloe and Mark Mansoor, revealed that their son suffered from a brain bleed and brain swelling following the dog attack.

Chloe expressed her profound sorrow, stating that being his baby's mom was the biggest honor and the best thing she had ever done. It was also revealed that the attack was described as completely unprovoked, taking the family and community by surprise.

The Mansoor's husky, which they had owned for eight years, had no prior history of aggression. This tragic event has raised concerns about pet safety and the unpredictability of animals.

An Unthinkable Dog Attack

Ezra was peacefully napping in his crib when the husky launched the fatal attack. The family, which also owned another dog with no history of aggression, never imagined such a threat to their child's safety.

Chloe Mansoor emphasized the need for awareness to avoid tragic incidents like this. She stated that it could be any dog at any time and any place. Even if dogs were completely unprovoked, she urges vigilance, no matter what the history is.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office has taken the husky to an animal shelter and is currently investigating the incident. The future of the dog, as well as any potential charges, remains uncertain. This incident has highlighted the importance of monitoring pet behavior, even in seemingly safe environments.

A Heartfelt Response

In the midst of their immense grief, Chloe and Mark Mansoor have decided to donate Ezra's organs to help save other babies in need. This selfless act has provided them with some solace during their painful grieving process.

Chloe reflected on the importance of cherishing every moment, urging others not to take anything for granted. She added that even during moments of frustration, all the little things you get to spend with your baby are little moments that are still so amazing.

The family has also set up an online fundraiser to support their cause, and they have received an outpouring of love and prayers from the community.

Chloe expressed her gratitude, saying, "Pray for all the family really, everyone loved him so much. I know everyone's grieving right now, we're grieving right now, and it's going to be a lifelong process trying to work through this."

As the Mansoor family navigates this heartbreaking journey, they hope their story serves as a reminder to other families about the potential risks of pet ownership and the importance of vigilance.
