A 9-year-old girl died from a collision in a motorcross track accident in Southern California's Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park.
According to the press release by the Riverside County Sheriff, Brooke Carlton, 9, was riding her electric motorbike when she was accidentally struck by another juvenile that was also riding the same off-road motorbike.
Both juveniles in the incident were seen to be riding in the proper designated track for off-road vehicles when the collision happened.

On Sunday morning, June 2, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the California fire department and the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station officers quickly responded to a rescue call for a child needing medical attention.
When officers arrived in the scene, they saw an unconscious 9-year-old child whom good samaritans are trying to rescue and performing life-saving measures. She was then rushed to the hospital nearby for further medical assistance, but was later pronounced dead when they arrived at the facility.
Furthermore, the other child involved in the incident also sustained injuries from the collision and was treated at the scene.
Police authorities have revealed that they are continuing to look into the motorcross accident, and investigations are still underway. No further or additional information regarding the incident was released to the public.
