Christian Ramirez was situated by members of the Tulare County Search and Rescue Team around 8 a.m. on Friday, about a quarter mile from where he was last seen. Rescuers found him under a tree.
According to Fresno County Sheriff's Lt. Brandon Pursell, "This morning, we were fortunate that when searchers called out for the boy, he responded." Authorities reported Christian was tired and hungry but otherwise in good condition. He has now been reunited with his parents.
Pursell said we were really lucky this time. There were many possible risks, and the result could have been very different. The family was lucky, and the boy was very lucky to be reunited with them.
Pursell characterized how Christian had spent the night in the woods, declaring, "It was evident that he had become lost and had stayed put for the entire night." The young kid, who is three feet tall and weighs 40 pounds, had been wearing only a t-shirt and shorts during his suffering.

Pursell remarked that Huntington is residence to bears and likely big cats, along with snakes and numerous other dangers like slips, falls, and waterways. Christian was reported missing from their campsite at Rancheria Campground in Huntington Lake around 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Pursell remembered that he vanished in under five minutes.
Following the disappearance, the Search and Rescue team, Air Support Unit, Forest Service rangers, and officers from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife launched a search effort in the northeastern area of Huntington Lake.
Throughout the night, dogs, helicopters, and nearly 70 rescuers combed the area.
"This operation showcased incredible teamwork and commitment. More than 50 deputies and volunteers from various law enforcement agencies worked tirelessly through the night," the sheriff's office stated. "The community's support also played a crucial role in the successful rescue and safe return of Christian."
The office noted that many people volunteered their help, stayed watchful, spread information on social media, and sent supportive thoughts. These combined efforts surely helped in bringing Christian back home safely.
