The missing Michigan teen, Troy Coleman, 17-year-old, has now been found randomly on a Twitch livestream safe and in Miami.

A Twitch livestreamer who was broadcasting himself in Miami was approached by a tall guy with green shorts whom viewers online assumed was on drugs.

This is the first time the 17-year-old missing Michigan teen has been seen after reportedly being missing since May 17, bringing relief to his family and friends.

Troy Coleman Found Safe

Troy Coleman was last seen in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan, on May 17.

His father, Weston Coleman, reported him missing and told Townsquare Media that Troy was unarmed and posed no danger to anyone, though he suffers from hallucinations and needs medication he didn't have with him.

Several unconfirmed sightings of Troy were reported in May, including one at a car show outside Flint, Michigan. However, none of these reports were verified.

Despite the lack of concrete leads, the search for Troy continued. His family remained hopeful, and the local community rallied to support their efforts to find him. The police and volunteers scoured the area, but weeks passed with no breakthrough in the case.

Unexpected Twitch Livestream Discovery

The breakthrough came unexpectedly when streamer FaZe Lacy shared news that Troy had been spotted on a livestream in Miami.

The sighting was reported by Troy's brother, Trent Coleman, who had emailed the streamer after recognizing his brother in the video.

Trent had informed the police, who were investigating the possibility that Troy was deceased.

"Yesterday on stream, he came up to me and Clix, and now his family knows he is alive and in Miami. I wasn't sure if I should make this public, but I'm hoping somehow this helps him be found for his family," Lacy wrote.

The boy in the video, who Lacy claims is Troy, was seen wearing neon green swim shorts, carrying a black sweatshirt, and no shirt.

The police department verified the spotting and appreciated the assistance from the social media community in finding Troy.

The Flint Township Police Department expressed gratitude to all who spread the word about the missing person, recognizing how important public awareness was in locating the teenager.

Authorities Leading a Safe Return

Authorities are now working with local officials in Miami to arrange Troy's safe return to Michigan. Flint Township Police Department is working together to reunite Troy with his family, who are thrilled to hear that he is safe.

The police department stated that they are collaborating with local authorities to ensure his secure repatriation to Michigan to be reunited with his family.

Troy Coleman stands at 6 feet 4 inches, weighs around 165 to 180 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair.

The last time he was seen, he had on a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, and white slide-on shoes. The Flint Township Police Department is urging anyone with information about his location to call 810-600-3250.

This event highlights how social media and the internet can help with missing person cases. The surprising appearance on Twitch has provided Troy's family with a feeling of comfort and resolution, showcasing the beneficial influence that online communities can have in offline scenarios.
