Drone and bodycam footage captured the dramatic rescue of a missing 3-year-old from a vast cornfield in Alto, Wisconsin, on Sunday, August 25.
Local media reported that the child's parents had contacted authorities, believing their child had wandered into the cornfield behind their home on Marshview Road.
When deputies arrived, they were informed that the child was last seen around 7:30 p.m. and that all barns and buildings on the property had already been searched.
Utilizing drones equipped with thermal imaging, law enforcement swiftly located the child about half a mile from the house. The child was found uninjured and was safely reunited with the parents.
