A 26-year-old woman in California was arrested and hauled out of Disneyland in handcuffs after she snuck into the park with her children without paying for admission.

Video footage posted on social media showed 26-year-old Jessinia Diaz being led away by guards from Disneyland in handcuffs. She was also seen screaming profanities at police officers and refusing to provide identification. Moreover, the video showed her two young children crying and pleading for help from bystanders.

Nashville Mother Arrested in Disneyland

Diaz was allegedly arrested after she disguised her children as toddlers so she would not have to pay for their tickets and, instead, enter the park for free, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.

Children aged two and under are admitted to Disney's theme parks for free. However, her children were aged three and four. Authorities said it was the fourth time Diaz had snuck her children into the park over the last two months. It was noted, however, that Diaz had a valid pass for herself.

It was the first time authorities caught Diaz. She was arrested for trespassing and obstructing a peace officer's investigation after she refused to cooperate. She was later released with a citation. It is unclear if she will be banned from entering Disney parks in the future.

A single-park adult ticket costs $154 for visitors aged 10 and up. Children aged three to nine would pay for a ticket $146. Pricing varies depending on the day, time of visit, and if there is a holiday, with tickets going as low as $109.

Other Incidents

Diaz was not the only one who attempted to sneak their children into the park.

In 2022, for instance, a TikTok video showed a woman disguising an elementary school-age child as a baby to avoid paying the $140 admission fee. The child was placed in a stroller with a blanket covering her legs. Disney cast members were also seen glancing into the stroller.

The video later showed the mother helping the child out of the blanket once the workers had walked past them. It is unclear if any actions were taken against the guests.
