While on vacation at Bora Bora early this month, Justin Bieber's naked photos were leaked on the internet. The celebrity may have felt violated by the leak, but there was one thing that amused him about this whole incident.
His father, Jeremy Bieber, posted about the nude photos on his Twitter account and in particular, made a joke about his the 21-year-old's exposed manhood. According to Entertainment Tonight, the older Bieber wrote #prouddaddy in his Twitter message, but this has since been deleted, according to Us Weekly following strong reactions from netizens.
Speaking on the radio show "Zach Sang & The Gang," Bieber responded that he thought his father's tweet was hilarious. "It's such a dad thing to say. When I found out people were hating on him for saying that, I was like, 'Are you kidding me? What dad wouldn't be proud of that?'" said the young star, according to another Entertainment Tonight report.
"It's not like he's saying it to an 11-year-old," Justin said in defense of his dad. "I'm 21 years old, you know what I mean?
But jokes aside, the star admitted that he's still upset about his privacy being violated. "I still felt like I wanted to keep that part for me, you know? ...I felt like it was a little bit of an invasion of privacy. And when I first found out about it, I was like... my heart sank," he told the radio hosts.
Talking with Access Hollywood after the leak, the "What Do You Mean?" singer said that he felt uncomfortable about it. "My first thing was like...how can they do this? Like, I feel super violated. Like, I feel like I can't step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space... especially that far away," he said.
Justin was with model Jayde Pierce in that Bora Bora trip. The two were first rumored to be dating back in May, according to Hollywood Life.
Meanwhile, the singer had another leak this week when his duet with former girlfriend, Selena Gomez, made its way to Sound Radio, according to another Us Weekly report. The track "Strong" is part of Justin's new album "Purpose," which is expected to drop in stores on Nov. 13. The former couple have not addressed the leak, but based on the reaction from Beliebers on the internet, it looks like Justin and Selena's new song has tons of potentials to become a hit.
