As Black Friday approaches, people will want to have scoops on the biggest deals that are available, so that they can prepare for it.
One leak has revealed huge savings on Dell products. According to Zdnet.com, Dell was the first tech company to have its Black Friday ad leaked last year, on November 3. This year, however, the leak came much earlier, two weeks earlier than last year's leak date.
This year's leak, as seen via Best Black Friday, showcases what Dell products are sold as “doorbusters” -- limited-time, limited-quantity deals online.
On Thursday starting at 6 p.m., buyers can get a Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Series notebook for $149.99 online. It has modest specs: a 14-inch screen, Intel Celeron processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal Solid State Storage, and $80 less than the normal price.
Buyers can also get the Inspiron Micro Desktop at $99.99 (also $80 less), provided they wait until midnight on Friday. It has the same specs as the Inspiron laptop, minus the screen.
Another doorbuster is the Inspiron Small Desktop running Windows 8.1 and powered by an Intel Pentium CPU, 4GB RAM, and 500GB storage, at $199.99.
Black Friday doorbusters include the Inspiron 11 3000 2-in-1 notebook with an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB storage, 11.6-inch touch display, and Windows 10 ($299.99 ); the Inspiron 15 3000 laptop with same specs as the 2-in-1 but with a 15.6-inch screen and Nvidia GeForce 820M graphics card ($229.99 );
Also included are the Inspiron 15 3000 with Core i5 CPU for $379.99; and a bundle of Inspiron Desktop with a 24-inch LCD monitor. The desktop runs on a Core i5 processor, 12GB RAM, 1TB internal storage, and Windows 10, and is available for $499.99.
Other Dell systems that will be available from 6 p.m. Thanksgiving through Black Friday are the $299.99 Inspiron 15 5000 with Celeron processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB storage, and 15.6-inch touchscreen; $349.99 Inspiron Small Desktop with Core i3, 4GB RAM, and 1TB storage; and the $499.99 Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 with Pentium CPU, 4GB RAM, and 500GB storage.
Alienware, Dell's gaming systems, gets sales, too: the Alienware 15 laptop, with a Skylake Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB storage, GeForce GTX 970M graphics card, and 15.6-inch 1080p HD display sells for $1,199.99 ($250 off the current price); while the X51 desktop with Skylake Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 2TB hard drive, and GeForce GTX 960 graphics, sells at $1,249.99, still $50 less than the normal price.
Dell only has one tablet deal this year. On Friday, 2 p.m., the Venue 10 5000 Android slate, with an Intel Atom processor and 10.1-inch screen will sell for $149, nearly half the price of the current base model. Other tablets will also have discounted prices, but specific models aren't mentioned.
