HBO's hit fantasy drama TV series "Game of Thrones" has reached the consoles. For those who wanted to try the game, you can get a taste test.
According to ComicBook.com, the first episode of "Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series" is now available for free starting this week on consoles and mobile devices.
"Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series" features the story of House Forrester, who was caught up in the fight for the Iron Throne. The characters are placed in a precarious position where members of the household must do everything they can for the household to survive.
Another big revelation from Telltale is their announcement for the game's season finale. According to IGN, "Game of Throne" series will be available on consoles and PC on Nov. 17.
"Episode 6—The Ice Dragon" will also be available for download on the same date as the full season hits the shelves as a retail disc.
For those wondering about the season's conclusion, this is what Kevin Brunzer, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games has to say, "The epic conclusion to the season is the most ambitious and diversely presented episode we've ever produced."
For those who wanted to learn more on what Brunzer meant. "The fate of House Forrester has been in the hands of players all season long, and the finale will be tailored to provide a uniquely harrowing conclusion for each and every player based on the decisions they've made in the game thus far," he explained.
"Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series" is based on the popular TV show "Game of Thrones" an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire." The events in the game series begin towards the end of Season Three of the series and ends right before the beginning of Season Five. In the game, players will get to visit familiar locations in the TV show such as King's Landing and The Wall. Unfamiliar locations will also be featured such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester.
The game will be played from five different points of views. A player can either be a direct Forrester family member, or a service personnel in the house. Scattered across the Westeros and Essos, each character has to play their part well to save House Forrester from total destruction.
In a separate report from IGN, key actors from HBO's series will be reprising their roles including Lena Headey, Peter Dinkledge, Natalie Dormer, Iwan Rheon, Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke to name a few.
