Actress of "Homeland" fame Morena Baccarin is going to be a mom.
The star's representatives confirmed the news to People magazine. This is the first child of the 33-year-old actress, who appears in "Homeland" as Jessica Brody, with her husband, director Austin Chick.
The Brazilian beauty, who has been married to Chick since November 2011, has never hesitated to reveal the secrets behind her successful married life to the world.
"We are solid," she told Daily Mail, about her relationship with Chick, just one month before her first wedding anniversary.
"You have to talk...a lot. Which guys love," she continued, unwrapping the secrets behind her successful married life. "You have to keep checking in, being aware of what is happening in each other's worlds, otherwise you miss things, and then it becomes very hard to go back and connect the dots."
Baccarin, who entered the world of acting with her first film "Perfume" in 2001, shot to fame with her roles in the 2002 TV series "Firefly" and 2005 film "Serenity".
It's been baby time galore for the Showtime's TV series recently. The news comes months after Baccarin's co-star Claire Danes welcomed her first child with husband Hugh Dancy - a baby boy named Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy - at the end of December 2012. Danes plays the role of Carrie Mathison in the drama-thriller series "Homeland", which earned her a 2012 Golden Globe for Best Actress in January.
At present, "Homeland" is getting ready for its third season, scheduled to be aired Sep. 29.
