In an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," 19-year-old model Kendall Jenner revealed her struggle as her parents made them choose who they will side with after their divorce.
In a the clip provided by E! Online to promote the return of the series on Nov. 15, Kendall was heard uttering the words, "Dad and mom put me and Kylie into choosing between them."
Their dad Bruce Jenner, who has since transitioned as Caitlyn Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner were married for 24 years before making their divorce final in March 2015, according to another E! Online report. The story also stated that the ex-couple's date of separation was last June 1, 2013, but they remain in contact because of their kids and business partnerships.
According to Daily Mail, despite things going supposedly well for Bruce and Kris, the divorce was tough on Kendall and Kylie, 18, who also had to deal with their father becoming a woman on their own TV show. Rumors about the sisters being forced to take sides emerged back in May when Hollywood Life reported via a source that the girl's mother has been "creating a major rift."
"They both feel like they have to choose sides and they don't think it's fair. The girls feel like this is a time when the Jenner and the Kardashian families should come together as one, but Kris is making this nearly impossible," the source told the news outlet.
According to Radar Online, Kendall and Kylie were asked by their mom about whether they want to be Jenners or Kardashians and emphasized that if they sided with her, Kris would be able to take care of them and their careers very well. But it was Kendall who was apparently more vocal about siding with her dad, the news outlet stated. Perhaps it was because the older teen sister had a flourishing modeling career and needed no further help from her mom under these terms.
At the height of this news, Bruce was yet to come out as Caitlyn to the public, but the Kardashian-Jenner family had been dealing with the transition in private. "Kylie and Kendall don't want their dad to have any unnecessary chaos in his life right now," the source added via Hollywood Life. "They know if both families came together on good terms it would make Bruce really happy."
Here is the teaser to the episode, which will commence airing Nov. 15:
