Have you been saving up for the Apple iPad Pro? Good news, as 9to5mac reports that Apple is planning to release the 12.9-inch iPad Pro to market in just a few days on Nov. 11, Wednesday. According to the news outlet, the highly anticipated device will be on sale on both physical and retail stores. However, Macworld reports that there is still no confirmation if the iPad Pro will have a pre-order date before its rumored Nov. 11 release date.
Arstechnica notes that looking at its physique, the new iPad is similar to the iPad Air 2; the only difference is its measurement. The iPad Pro features a 12.9-inch 2732 × 2048 screen, which enables users to enjoy videos and gaming with clearer and larger visuals. Under the hood, the iPad Pro packs up 4GB or RAM and the new Apple A9X SoC. Memory storage also varies from 32GB to 128GB.
Macworld notes that the latest from the Mac lineup will have a starting price of $799 for the 32GB Wi-FI model while the 128GB Wi-fi model will be at $949. The iPad Pro variant that features Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity as well as 128GB of memory will retail at $1,079. Accessories for the iPad Pro will not come for free and must be bought separately. They Smart Keyboard, perfect for writing in different locations or taking notes during meetings, clocks in at $169. Meanwhile, Apple's version of "pressure-sensitive stylus" called the Apple Pencil is priced at $99.
Last week, a separate 9to5mac article reports that gearing up for its iPad Pro launch in November, Apple has began training its AppleCare employees to familiarize them with troubleshooting the new device. The tech giant has required its AppleCare staff to finish their training on Nov. 6, which, according to the website, corroborates with Apple's usual practice of preparing its employees weeks before a launch. If this is indeed true, the date fits well to the rumored Nov. 11 release date.
According to Arstechnica, the Apple iPad Pro will be the last device releasd from the lineup of Apple products that Apple has announced in its event in September. The other devices announced, which are now available onth market, are the new Apple Watch colors, iPad Mini 4, the new Apple TV, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus as well as 4K and 5K iMacs. There is still no confirmation about the release date, and we still have to wait until Nov. 11 to see wether the much-awaited iPad Pro will be released to the public.
