'Teen Mom 2' Leah Messer Lied About Having Narcolepsy? Admits It's Not Sure, 'Still Doing The Testing' [Twitter Post]

Leah Messer is plagued with controversies after losing custody battle over twins to ex-husband Corey Simms. The "Teen Mom 2" star is ready to fight back, but she said something that seems to question her honesty.

According to US Weekly, Simms was awarded a primary custody over their twin daughters Aliannah and Aleeah. Last Oct. 7, a West Virginia judge ruled that Simms, 26, would have the girls Monday through Friday while Messer will have the twins on weekends.

Messer finds the decision "like a slap on the face" after learning that Simm's will be having the twins on weekdays. In an interview with the publication, the celebrity mom reveals that the custody swap occurred after an Aug. 24 incident where Simms accused her of not getting the kids to school on time. "Leah just wasn't getting them to school," disclosed an insider. "Leah just wasn't getting them to school."

However, Messer was quick to deny the incident. While she admitted one tardy incident, she insisted that the rest of the story did not happen. In fact, she set up an Oct. 19 school-board meeting where she planned to talk with the superintendent and send them time-stamped photos to prove that the girls were not late. Messer is determined to have the school officials remove the tardiness report.

According to Enstars, Messer blamed her inability to sending her children to school on time on narcolepsy. However, she admitted that she has not been diagnosed with the said disorder after several days. One fan commented on Messer's statement stating, "It's annoying when u say u have #narcolepsy when you did not get diagnosed w/ it. It's a serious disease. get educated #LIES."

Messer answered back stating that they are still doing the testing, but they are pretty sure that she is narcoleptic. She also blamed her on-screen habit of nodding while holding her brother's baby as the result of anxiety and depression. However, the more Messer makes excuses, the more fans doubt her statement.

One user commented on The Ashley's Reality Roundup report, expressing her concern to Messer's kids with the celebrity mom's admission of being narcoleptic. "Even if someone was stupid enough to believe she does have narcolepsy, does she really think it would make anything she's done okay? She has still put her kids in danger. " The user stressed that Messer should hold off her custody battle until she is treated.

But Messer wants to share 50/50 custody with Simms. "I feel like they should have both of us in their lives," she said. "At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don't care what I have to do to make them happy."
