'X-Men: Apocalypse' Trailer 'Coming Soon', Says Director Bryan Singer; Evan Peters Teases Quicksilver's Role [Report]

The hype about the upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse" is not slowing down. Fans are getting more excited to see the film on the big screens. However, although its release date is still over six months away, fans will soon witness a huge surprise about the film.

Many fans are looking forward to "X-Men: Apocalypse's" trailer and director Bryan Singer's recent post seems to suggest that the anticipated trailer will soon be released. According to Screen Rant, Singer is good at teasing fans with his work over social media.

Singer looks tired in the photo. John Ottman, who edited and scored "X2: X-Men United" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is sitting behind him. The director captioned the photo with "Back in the cutting room w #johnottman teaser coming soon."

Although Singer did not mention "X-Men: Apocalypse" in the said post, the background image in the screen features a blurry yet still recognizable Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) who appears to be in a deep conversation with someone we do not know yet.

Xavier still has a full head of quintessentially 1980's hair, suggesting that the plot in "X-Men: Apocalypse" might explain his eventual hair loss. McAvoy was already seen in the "Apocalypse's" set with a shaved head.

Meanwhile, Evan Peters teases the role of Quicksilver in the upcoming superhero flick. Michael Fassbender's Magneto and Quicksilver were two of the most popular characters in "X-Men: Days of Future Past." Although they only had a short time together, their encounter was memorable and it will be continued in "X-Men: Apocalypse" as the silver-haired speedster search for the Master of Magnetism, Cinema Blend reported.

In an interview with Details, Peters was asked to confirm if "X-Men: Apocalypse" has something to do with zombies. The actor replied with "Ha! No, it's not." However, the actor is open to including zombies in the film, suggesting the titular villain, Apocalypse to invite the zombies to help him take over the earth.

The actor continued by revealing a glimpse of his character. "The story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him," Evan said. "It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world."

According to What Culture, "X-Men: Apocalypse" will answer if Magneto is indeed Quicksilver's father or not. There are speculations that the two are father and son, let's see if the movie will confirm this.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald previously reported that the film will also feature the unknown story of the three popular superheroes Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" premieres on May 27, 2016.
