Parents Of Murdered Children Expecting A Child (VIDEO)

Nearly eight months after Marina and Kevin Krim suffered the death of their two children, Leo and Lulu, who were allegedly stabbed to death by their nanny, the bereaved couple announced Friday they're expecting their fourth child, according to ABC News.

The Krims are also parents to 4-year old Nessie, who was unharmed in the stabbing.

The couple announced the news of their pregnancy on their Facebook page for the Leo and Lulu Fund, an arts fund for children created in the memory of their murdered little ones.

"We are very happy to let you know that Marina is expecting a baby in the fall," the couple wrote on their page. "Nessie can't wait to welcome her new baby brother. We are filled with many emotions as we look to the future, but the most important one is hope."

In October of last year, Marina Krim returned home from a swimming lesson her with daughter Nessie in tow to discover the bodies of her son Leo, 2, and daughter Lulu, 6, in the bathtub, dying from inflicted knife wounds.

The children's nanny, 50-year old Yoselyn Ortega, was also in the bathroom stabbing herself in the throat. Ortega is charged with murdering children she cared for in the Krim's Upper West Side home, and faces up to life in prison, according to the New York Times. Justice Gregory Carro ordered two state psychiatrists to examine Ortega and determine the status of her mental health.

On Mother's Day, Marina Krim wrote a post on the Leo and Lulu Fund page describing a family trip to the ocean, where her children found sand dollars to bring home, and posted a photo of the sand dollars that are now mounted on her wall.

"Mounting [the sand dollars] on the wall this morning was therapeutic for me and a perfect way to connect with my angels this Mother's Day," she wrote.

The Krims have used the page to post similar pictures and memories and describing different ways they've dealt with their grief.
